I must begin this with a MAJOR QUESTION. Do you know others as well as you know yourself? Day in day out we talk to friends. They see us we see them. We know what we see, but what is underneath this layer of skin. You know their names and they know your name, but HAVE YOU MET YOU??????Continue Reading
It is a New Day. Practice being in the present, FREEDOM FROM the past AND the future. In the middle of your honey-do-list or in my case MY-TO-DO LIST, do not let interruptions throw you off course.
Instead stay in the present moment FREEDOM and turn it into an opportunity. This could mean a number of things.
The interruption causes you to LOOSE YOUR FREEDOM and focus, stop what you’re doing. I challenge you to use this abrupt opportunity to refocus on the present moment you’re at.
Look at it in a way that is beneficial to you. On the flip side, imagine if you had not been interrupted and never got the chance to take an opportunity to REFOCUS ON FREEDOM. Maybe you could have missed something wonderful?????
Time is funny, we can never ever get a moment back. Imagine what you just did, even breathing, you will never get that moment in time back. All of us need a sense of accomplishment at the end of a day.
I think the fulfillment would be that much more powerful to each of us if we stayed in the present moment FOCUSED ON FREEDOM and enjoy each task.
However, my proposal to you is to use an interruption as a chance to cherish THE FREEDOM an interruption can bring if You allow. Take it one day at a time, even one event at a time can help maintain that inner calm.
This new excitement to face fear of an interruption as an opportunity to FREEDOM may seem odd, however, WHY NOT? The interruption may even be a positive one, but even still it is something you did not plan on happening.
At the days end, if you haven’t completed your lists do not beat yourself up, always be PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED. You’re the only one on the planet that experienced what you did today!! FREEDOM
The Little Decisions and the Big Decisions can be scary. The importance of each whether little or big are both a piece of the puzzle. It can be very scary.
The Decision I made to begin this Blog was a Big Decision. The Little seemingly unimportant steps I had to make throughout the past 18 months of writing have created a community of friends that now I can’t be without.
I made a Big Decision to become vulnerable. I decided to share my depression, dreams and disappointments. Along the way, I learned the value of vulnerability. I learned the little things to matter.
My interpretation of My life has totally changed. Those Big problems became smaller and those Little problems, well they basically have disappeared.
The Decision to move after 19 years in the same place, physically and mentally, has happened. I did not think I could make the move. However, all the little decisions built up to the Big Decision.
You my friends have been the origin of this change. Your words and comments have made me challenge myself. Has it been painful????Well, I would not say painful, however, I would say I had to see myself from Your point of view. I found this VERY helpful.
So I challenge all of You who read or write to value the little beginnings…..it is a time where You learn alot about Yourself. Also, the Readers and Comments You receive are invaluable.
A Decision to Test, to stop analyzing your future and MOVE. Step Out and Find Out. I do believe You will be Pleasantly Surprised.
TIME is a double edged sword, either a motivator or a thief.
The person who got me thinking was really turning 72, however, even before the actual date of his birthday he reversed the numbers. He was telling everyone he was turning 27. This awkward mindset has shown me TIME, dates and numbers have a strong hold on everyone. It is an invisible enemy for the majority of people.
I wanted to explore imagining reversing your age and the positive affects it can have moving into another direction, attacking problems from another angle, reviving the passion for life at the age reversed.
So I began to ponder the meaning of TIME. The Webster’s Dictionary gives the definition of time: point at which something happens, period during which something exists or continues or can be accomplished, customary hour, age, tempo, moment, hour, day, or year as indicated by a clock or calendar, one’s experience during a particular period.
I read this definition over and over and found 2 common themes. It seems half of the definitions were actions with a rhythm and the other half are more numbered by an event.
The causes resulting from TIME include something happening. It can be planned, unplanned, explained or a mystery. What just happened? Also, how did this happen?
These questions would probably be found during a particular event which required a TIME or date stamp. Which would capture that moment in TIME. Many other scenarios would apply.
Time is also a gift, by using TIME to your advantage, there will be no regrets. Even enjoying sitting in traffic can be beneficial. Learning to appreciate free TIME and not waste a gap in a schedule of TIME. Even take into consideration the day and age we are all in, that means this is OUR TIME.
We weren’t born in the 1600, 1800, or back when dinosaurs ruled. We were all meant to be here now. That is so amazing….For example, doing a family tree gives you the TIME your relatives lived. My mind went into many directions, like history around the world, wars, earthquakes.
All events have a TIME which is recorded.
Exploring TIME is an open-ended conversation to me. The calendar also gives us the indication in New England of the seasons of TIME.
So we have the privilege of watching the TIME and experiencing the change of TIME with the weather, colors and temperature. Another topic involved is our family tree. TIME in the past recorded within which hold the health, wealth or demise (loss of status), I intend on exploring these facts.
Whether you receive good or bad news on any given day, I hope I have given you a NEW AREA OF YOUR LIFE TO DO A SELF-DIALOGUE.
Whether you have fun and reverse your age, play the lottery and win with a favorite date and TIME, or do meditation during your quiet TIME. I have a new found appreciation for this invisible schedule set by the universe for each of us, I hope you enjoyed WaytobeWell.
What is the Point? Well, I choose to believe there is a Point. We all have a purpose. The hard part is to find out what is it actually. Many people let life dictate to them the Point or reason they exist.
I refuse to let circumstances dictate my Point. I admit for many years I allowed the outside world run me. However, that did not work, it almost killed me.
I Choose to be led by what makes Me happy, I believe that is the Point. I like to live inside the space of my talents, gifts and passions. There is no one else on the planet who has the same genetic makeup that I or You have. So, the Point is you and I are the Author of our own Story. Imagine that!!!!!
Many folks say, “there is no way I could write a book”. I say that is exactly what you are doing every day. The ups and downs, the pain and sorrow, the mountaintop victories and the time of tears. Only you, there will never be Another You Ever Again.
Your are the Main character right now in your area of this planet. This is Your Story. Stand Up and Prove Your Point. Silence the Negative People. Those that may put you down because of Your Story. You are Priceless, Perfect and on Point.
I know my Own Story is still ongoing. Tragedies and Triumphs, too many to number. HOWEVER, I make a deliberate decision through many tears and struggle to stay on Point.
I encourage You All to Own Your Story.
Hold your head High. Be Proud of Yourself because You are Staying On Point. The result will leave a legacy to whoever you encountered during your years on this earth to follow and keep them on Point…
