Life is Not a Game. Do you really want to live discontent and have unanswered questions just existing. Do You want to watch others from the sideline or pursue Your Own Life Dreams? Your Life Matters, regardless of the opinions of others.
Your Life matters and that is a Fact. Facing this question takes courage. It is definitely a scary question, however, from time to time I believe it helps to keep us on course and in the Game. In my opinion, we all have a PURPOSE. I choose to pursue my purpose daily reflecting with myself. My Life is significant no matter what others may think or say. During difficult times in my life I rely on this Center inside myself. I want to know I contributed at the end of the day to this world.
It seems humans struggle to be content. We ALL matter, we all can make a difference, we all have a special something to contribute, we all are needed on this planet to give that special something to the world because only YOU have it and people need it, others need YOU. We are as unique as the snowflakes and the stars, not one the same.
The place of contentment is not an illusive place. It can be an invisible battle if you are used to chaos due to past situations. It is not imaginative. I admit it is alot of work to stay content. It may take repeat efforts, until learned and try to keep an open mind and stay teachable. It is a choice. Everyone has a free will. The ability to choose every day. Some may not admit it, but if they become too content it almost seems as if something is wrong. In this case, subconciously they may even create a drama to satisfy that void of unrest they are naturally used to having. In that situation the void will sabotage the contentment and will reverse back to being discontent.
I believe contentment in life comes with a big slice of humble pie. A false sense of pride in ourselves causes us to feel entitled, as if we do not have to “check in” to be sure we are content with ourselves. Due to the pressures of life and our own expectations, we believe we are entitled to MORE of everything, which breeds discontentment with ourselves.
We have a bad habit of looking outward for contentment. As if we could find it somewhere. Whether it be at the Mall, the Spa, the Casino, as if to ask an object to please make me content. It can be very very tiring to live in this zone. The What If zone in my opinion, is like walking through a Haunted House on Halloween. I guess you could call them the What If Ghosts.
Another trap to beware of is comparing ourselves with others. For example, someone you admire that is successful, and you strive be like them, beware this is a double edged sword. You are not them, you will reach the top your own way which in itself is SUCCESS.
My friends do not doubt yourself. As I said You are as unique as each snowflake that falls. Contentment with Yourself is a scary place, I suggest to give it a try. You may discover a beautiful sense of peace of being succesful and fufilled in the place of authenticity at being TOTALLY, UNIQUELY, PRICELESS YOU.
